Ehphesians 4:11-13

In August of 1988 the

Vernon Mission was established. Vernon because that is our location in Arizona. Mission because the purpose was to reach an underserved area in whatever way we found necessary.

It became clear that we needed to add Christian Fellowship so that people looking for a local church would know we are a place where Christians gather.

But that is a long name to spell so we often go by VMCF.

We are rural Mountain community church serving God together

We serve a Big God!

We are Bible Based-Spirit Led! The Word is faithfully preached and we strive for APPLICATION. That is where growth happens in our lives. We look for healing and wholeness of body, mind and spirit through understanding and applying the Word of God.

We relate to Acts 16:9 which tells us, "And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man from Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, "Come over to Macedonia (Vernon) and help us."

And to Nehemiah 4:6 which says, "So we built the wall. And all the wall was joined together to half its height for the people had a mind to work." We invite you to participate.
